What this page is
Rescue 1 Epoxy is a concrete floor coating company in Milton, Florida, owned and operated by Drew Becker. The legal entity behind the trade name is BECKS HANDYMAN SERVICES LLC. Text messages are sent from 850-805-7586.
The call-to-action for the text messaging program is the free estimate form on the contact page: https://rescue1epoxy.com/contact. It is one click from every page on this website, it is public, and it sits behind no login and no paywall. The form collects a name, a phone number, an email address and a short description of the job, and it offers two separate text-message consent checkboxes.
This page reproduces those checkboxes word for word, and lists every other way somebody ends up on the texting list. It exists so that anyone — a customer, or a carrier reviewing this messaging program — can read the exact consent wording without having to fill anything in.
Every person who receives a text from Rescue 1 Epoxy contacted Rescue 1 Epoxy first, or hired Rescue 1 Epoxy to do work. This business does not buy, rent, scrape, import or borrow phone numbers, and it sends no unsolicited messages of any kind. Consent to receive text messages is never a condition of purchase or of any service.
Method 1 of 4
A visitor goes to rescue1epoxy.com/contact and asks for a free estimate. The form fields are: Full name, Phone, Tell us a bit about the job, Email, then the two consent checkboxes below, then Submit.
Both checkboxes are unchecked when the page loads. Neither is required. The form submits with both left alone, and the estimate is given either way. The two are kept separate so that agreeing to messages about your own job does not also agree to promotional messages.
The label reads, in full:
By checking this box, I consent to receive non-marketing text messages from Rescue 1 Epoxy (BECKS HANDYMAN SERVICES LLC) about my quote request and the work I asked about. Message frequency varies, message & data rates may apply. Text HELP for assistance, reply STOP to opt out.
The label reads, in full:
By checking this box, I consent to receive marketing and promotional messages including special offers, discounts, new product updates among others, from Rescue 1 Epoxy (BECKS HANDYMAN SERVICES LLC) at the phone number provided. Frequency may vary. Message & data rates may apply. Text HELP for assistance, reply STOP to opt out.
By submitting this form and ticking the consent box you agree to receive text messages from Rescue 1 Epoxy (BECKS HANDYMAN SERVICES LLC) and to our SMS Terms, Privacy Policy and Terms of Service. Consent to receive texts is not a condition of purchase. Msg & data rates may apply. Reply STOP to opt out.
The SMS Terms, Privacy Policy and Terms of Service are linked from that sentence and from the footer of every page on this site.
Method 2 of 4
You called or texted the business first. During that conversation Drew asks, in his own words, whether it is alright to text you about your estimate and your job. If you say yes, he records that you agreed and the date you agreed, against your contact record. If you say no, he calls or emails you instead, and nothing about your price or your job changes.
This is the path most customers take, because most people call before they fill anything in.
Method 3 of 4
Drew is a working firefighter and he coats floors himself, so calls get missed. When a call to 850-805-7586 is not answered, the business sends one reply text back to the number that just called it, about that call. It is a reply to your own inbound call and nothing else — not a promotion, not a broadcast, and not sent to anyone who has not just dialled this business.
That reply reads:
Rescue 1 Epoxy: Sorry we missed your call - Drew is on a floor or on shift. Text back what you need and he'll get to you as soon as he's free, or call 850-805-7586. Reply STOP to opt out.
If you do not reply, that is the end of it. Continuing texts happen only once you reply and the conversation carries on, or you agree on a call, or you tick the box on the form. Replying STOP to that message stops everything immediately.
Method 4 of 4
You sent a text to 850-805-7586 asking about a floor. Drew texts you back. Your own message is the agreement to be answered by text, and the conversation stays on the subject you raised. Reply STOP at any point and it ends.
There is no fifth way. Rescue 1 Epoxy does not buy, rent, scrape, import or borrow phone numbers, does not accept numbers passed along by a third party, and does not message anyone who has not contacted this business or hired it. Mobile opt-in information and consent are never shared with or sold to third parties or affiliates for marketing purposes.
The keywords
Texting START, YES or UNSTOP to 850-805-7586 subscribes you, and the confirmation you get back reads:
Rescue 1 Epoxy: You're subscribed to texts about your estimate and your job. Msg frequency varies. Msg & data rates may apply. Reply HELP for help, STOP to cancel.
Texting HELP or INFO returns:
Rescue 1 Epoxy - concrete coatings, Milton FL. Help: 850-805-7586 or drew@rescue1epoxy.com. Msg & data rates may apply. Reply STOP to cancel.
Texting STOP, STOPALL, UNSUBSCRIBE, CANCEL, END or QUIT ends the messages, and the single confirmation you get back reads:
Rescue 1 Epoxy: You are unsubscribed and will receive no further texts. Reply START to rejoin. For help call or text 850-805-7586.
After that confirmation, nothing further is sent. Opting out of texts does not cancel your estimate and does not cancel work you have scheduled — it only stops the texts, and we will call or email you instead. If STOP does not work for any reason, call or text 850-805-7586 or email drew@rescue1epoxy.com and you will be removed by hand.
You must be 18 years of age or older to use this SMS service.
What actually gets sent
Nothing else goes out under this program. Message frequency varies and depends on what you asked and where your project is at — there is no set schedule, no daily blast and no newsletter.
Where the “SMS Marketing Consent” box has been ticked, an occasional offer may also be sent. That box is separate, optional and unchecked by default, and leaving it alone has no effect on anything else.
The full program disclosure — who sends the messages, cost, carrier liability, how long information is kept — is on the SMS Terms page.
Ask the person who sends the messages. Call or text 850-805-7586, or email drew@rescue1epoxy.com. Rescue 1 Epoxy operates from 8056 Fir Tree Dr, Milton, FL 32583, and serves Santa Rosa and Escambia County. Hours are Monday–Saturday, by appointment.
One word, typed into a reply. One confirmation message, then nothing. Consent to texts is never a condition of purchase — say no and the price and the work are exactly the same.
